Artificial intelligence in ophthalmopathy and ultra-wide field image: A survey

Fundus digital photography and optical coherence tomography (OCT) are currently the primary imaging approaches for early diagnosis treatment of eye diseases. In recent years, significant development in artificial intelligence (AI), particularly machine learning (ML) deep (DL) new vital technical-driven motivations impacting on traditional methods. At same time, ultra-wide field (UWF) technology is getting widely accepted prevalent by its obvious advantageous features non-dilate pupils, express-track result vast pool fundus viewing angles. As a result, numerous research have been done to explore AI ophthalmology joint treatment. However, current review this method still least ink. We first outlines application impact ophthalmic diseases past ten years. With following part exclusively summarizing technical integration images four which has brought innovations clinical methods diseases; finally, we analyzed implementation novel as well potential limitations challenges, predict possibility technology’s further principles role values ophthalmology.
